Prepare to be amazed by "The House of Dancing Water", a water show extravaganza staged in a custom-built theater at City of Dreams Macau. During either an early evening or late evening show, you'll be entertained by an action-packed spectacle that thrills all ages with its daring acrobatics, high dives, motorcycle stunts, colorful water jets and multimedia theatrics. A love story unfolds after a fisherman is swept into a watery land of princesses, pirates and other colorful characters.

When you arrive at the theater in the City of Dreams Macau, step inside the specially designed 270-degree-view venue for your selected performance of "The House of Dancing Water."

A water show unlike any other in the world, it was created by a veteran Las Vegas showman and features a high-tech stage that transforms seamlessly between dry and wet scenes, allowing for highlights such as breathtaking dives into the 22.75-foot-deep (7-meter) pool and a showstopping ‘dancing water’ scene with numerous colorfully lit water jets that blast up to 59 feet (18 meters) high in sync with the music. The stage holds a pool with 3.7 million gallons (17 million liters) of water, a size equivalent to five Olympic swimming pools.

Watch the story of Coloane, a fisherman whose small boat becomes caught in a whirlpool, transporting him into a world of pirates, princesses, an evil stepmother and romance. The action-filled tale unfolds with an impressive mix of special effects, acrobatics, aerial stunts, and classic dance and theater elements that will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire 85-minute performance.

When booking, choose from two showtimes and three seating areas. A Reserve tickets offer the best views in the house. B Reserve tickets allow you to be closer to the action on stage and provide good value as long as you do not mind getting wet (the first four rows are in the splash zone; towels are provided by the theater). C Reserve tickets are located toward the back of the stage and are the most economical option. (Click on the "View additional info" link below to see a seating chart.)

This private tour includes transportation by coach, admission tickets, hotel pickup and drop-off.

Get picked up at your Macau hotel for this 11-hour private tour.

Your tour begins with a trip to the A-Ma Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in 1488, it’s one of the oldest Taoist temples in Macau. Go by other popular must-see places such as the 16th-century Ruins of the Church of St. Paul and the old walls at Monte Fort. Stop to enjoy collections in Museum of Macau, which occupies the foundations and platform with exhibits that illustrate the life of Macau and its people over the past four centuries, emphasizing the bi-cultural character of the city. Other stops of the day include Senado Square, Street of Rua do Cunhua, and the Cotai Strip.

Senado Square is nearby, and many people like to stay there for hours for shopping or just strolling around.  It is an elongated triangular shaped square and connects Largo do São Domingos at one end and Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro on the other.

Street of Rua do Cunhua is essentially the symbol of Macau and attracts tourists far and wide due to its traditional colonial architecture. Apart from the history and culture that surrounds this narrow pedestrian street there is a range of traditional Macanese pastries and snacks that are lined along the street. There is also the famous restaurant "O Santos" Comida Portuguesa which is known as Macau’s most authentic Portuguese restaurant.

Inspired by the Las Vegas Strips, Cotai Strip is the fastest growing entertainment district in the recent years funded by Las Vegas Sands. By the end of 2010, the strip will host up to 30 resorts making it the newest vacation paradise. You will visit the Venetian Macau resort, the largest single structure hotel building in Asia. You will have the choice to either trying your luck at the gambling table, shop till you drop at the Grand Canel Shoppes or treat yourself to taste a variety of international cuisine within the resort.

After your tour, transfer back to your hotel in Macau, or Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal (return ferry to Hong Kong is available to book from local tour supplier at an optional cost).
